Gladly looking forward to reading your posts
Have you written about a family member?
great photo of you dad!
It is actually – thank you
Have you written about a family member, you ask? Mwahahahahaha! Come and see! I’m all about family history (my A-Z theme) and by the time I’m through, you’ll know WAY more than you ever wanted to about me and my family! Gail, visiting on the A-Z hop. BTW< love your poetry.
yes I see what you mean 😀
I’ve written about family members, but more from the perspective they become characters in my work.
I don’t think I’ve actually done that but a former close friend gets much air time lol
Nothing beats writing about someone you love; and your father’s smile is magnificent! 🙂
yes it was – I have his smile sometimes
You have his smile always… all you need do is think of it 🙂
I haven’t written about my family directly, but I know they’re in my stories, especially my father. The qualities I’ve learned from him, and from other important people in my life, turn up in my characters all the time. 🙂
then in a sense you are writing about them. Good to see you
That’s really sweet and made me smile. 🙂 Great G post.
it’s good to smile 😀
Beautiful, Susan. Fathers…such inspiration. The photo of your dad– he has the nicest smile! After my dad passed away (I was 27 years old) I developed terrible writer’s block. A year later, I sat down one day and penned a poem. It just poured out. It took a couple of years for me to realize it was actually about my father’s death. So, yes, I wrote about a family member without planning it. 🙂 Is this the first you’ve written about a family member?
Being a writer is so healing to get out our grief. Yes the works in the bench was first time wrote about dad
Great Haiku!
